I had some restaurant employees call the cops on me in Texas for not wearing a mask one time 🙄🤦🏼‍♂️, but when they showed up,  the cops were very nice & reasonable . We had a lengthy discussion.  They didn’t tackle me, arrest me or break my foot.  

I actually believe that people who are more politically aware of these civil rights / constitutional type issues, for the past 2 decades, are much more competently equipped to handle such situations without incident. It doesn’t have to end like this. Bottom line, if a store calls the cops on you,  record it to make the store & perhaps the cops look bad, but cops are clueless as to the ADA. 

They will ask you to leave or will arrest you for trespassing if you don’t leave. Expect that to be the standard M.O. 

I know that the violent people are usually the pro-maskers, but how many stupid vids have there been of anti-mask people in stores who when confronted by cops, resort to shouting, or indignant , irrational, hysterical ranting like the woman in this vid, or  swinging & flailing arms, etc. What the heck does anyone expect that to accomplish, when dealing with cops most likely trained by the Israeli military ?🙄

The calm,  composed  people will almost always retain the upper hand. We have to be smart .
