Rothbard’s Strategy for the Right 32 Years Later

Writes Ginny Garner:

Lew,

Murray Rothbard gave a speech before the John Randolph Club which the Rothbard-Rockwell Report published in March 1992. As usual, Rothbard’s wonderful writing style kept me hanging on to every word, as he used logic, wit and humor to reach me, a non-academic who strives to learn from those with brilliant minds. Link to the speech here.

Rothbard explained how CIA asset William F. Buckley ostracized unseemly elements from the conservative, right wing or Republican movement  (essentially the pro-peace non interventionists) and how right wing populism, free from the control of the neocons, would win the day because the movement represents ideas loved by America’s heartland. The leader engaged in the political arena in 1992 was Pat Buchanan. We have since witnessed now how president-elect Trump surpassed Buchanan as that charismatic leader, and concluding from the election results and looking at a red dominating map of America, the heartland does indeed love Trump or at least the policies he purports to represent. However, with his new cabinet picks 100% Zionists or close to it, it appears the neocons still control right wing populism.

It is now up to the masses to hold Trump’s feet to the fire to oppose a war with Iran; end the war in the Ukraine; and facilitate a peace agreement to stop Israel from genociding the Palestinians (and destroying Gaza to, in the words of Jared Kushner, create “valuable oceanfront property”); end the bombing and land grab in Lebanon; and end the confiscation of part of Syria in the quest of Netanyahu and the Likud Party for a Greater Israel. The accomplishment of these objectives would end the hemorrhaging of nearly a trillion dollars to the military-industrial complex.
