Here is an in depth analysis of the Olympic magickal working, which—apparently, as these things go—was a failure:

The analysis is compelling and rather chilling (antiquity must have been a horrific time to live in—I’ll take the early middle-ages any day of the week thank you very much), but it seems these “elites” are such pathetic incompetents they can’t even make their own rituals work for them.
