Writes a friend:
Lew:
All during my childhood, November 22nd was remembered as the date they murdered John F. Kennedy.
I even recall visiting Dealey Plaza as a young child with my parents as a solemn and serious occasion.
Now as the years go by, the media seems to mark that infamous date less and less.
At some point it will be regulated on par with the assassination of President Garfield who is mostly forgotten by the public.
But the assassination of JFK forever changed the trajectory of the United States in ways we are still feeling and experiencing.
