They all knew Penny did what a person of honor would have done, if able.  It’s a terrible injustice when a criminal goes unpunished. It’s a travesty of justice when an innocent person is punished. But it’s an obscenity when those in power deliberately destroy an innocent person, particularly one who protected a group of strangers.

I’m a supporter of Old Testament style justice and a hopeful believer in karma. If the cowards and bastards aren’t punished in this lifetime, may they rot in hell.

A society without accountability will inevitably collapse.
