The #Me Too Movement wasn’t about “ feminism”. Not every wealthy man of name recognition is a Harvey Weinstein. What may have been predicated as a valid cause quickly became a hateful, fraudulent feeding frenzy for vindictive and opportunistic women seeking ill gotten gains, attention and power.The power to destroy.

Many of the accusations were obviously absurd, but ruined the reputations and careers of innocent men without being given the chance to defend themselves.

Among the most ludicrous- Garrison Keillor, the nerd who for thirty years narrated The Prairie Home Companion on PBS .

The day prior to his downfall, he authored an op-ed expressing disgust regarding the summary dismissal of Sen. Al Franken. Franken, a well- known, long time comedian had the “ audacity” to post a photo standing over his sleeping colleague, with his hands splayed above her breasts in pantomine. She was wearing two layers of clothing and a thick, baffled snow parka.He They were on a cargo plane , flying to Afghanistan to entertain the troops.It was so obviously an attempt at puerile humor. He never touched her. Ruined. Just like that.

Keillor lost his job and reputation for the crime of accidentally placing his hand on a woman’s back!

Roy Moore, the Kentucky Over the top  hyper- religious judge  was destroyed by a woman accusing him of having attempted to seduce her  when she was 16 and he was 20 something. Destroyed. She later recanted the entire account.

Stormy Daniels also recanted her claim of having an affair with Trump. It was fabricated. Even after admitting to it, she was still glorified. Wealthy men are often extorted and pay “ nuisance claims”.

And then the despicable and absurd attack on Brett Kavanaugh..the “ rape” that never took place. Poor guy was a virgin, to boot.

I can’t stand Keillor, Franken or Moore , but that is insufficient reason to create rape allegations.

But E Jean Carroll takes the cake. She belongs in prison and so do the abettors, particularly the judge presiding over this case which should have been thrown out.

Meanwhile, Tara Reade, who’s accusation against Biden was valid and backed up was scorned, dismissed and destroyed

And lest we forget Duke- La Crosse.

My husband’s then superior was a victim of a scam artist receptionist years ago. He was a jerk, but not a predator. So devoted to his wife it was near nauseating. The legal fees, payout by the firm and damage to his reputation was tragic. The receptionist cashed out and did the same to two more marks before she was prosecuted. Too late. The damage was done.

Believe all women? These women perform a terrible disservice to actual victims.
