Hello Lew,

I was reading Charles Burris’ post on the greatest movie on politics ever made and thought of the greatest movie on capitalism ever made. It was called Boom Town (1940). Not sure if it was a big hit, but it had Clark Gable, Spencer Tracy, Heddy Lamar, and the guy who played the Wizard of Oz. So, a lot of stars.

Anyway, in the courtroom scene near the end, where Gable’s character is charged with violating anti-trust laws, Tracy’s character makes this speech.
