SCOTUS upheld the right to sacrifice animals one religious grounds in 1993.  It is an egregious practice. As  is FGM.. And hunting for sport., animal research..  Hurting any innocent living being able to feel panic, pain isn’t about religion or sport. It’s an excuse to legitimize sadism , sociopathy and psychopathy.

Somehow, I doubt people who engage in torturing beings tell the dogs, cats, pigs, birds,deer.. “ This is going to hurt me more than it hurts you”.
