Edward Griffin regarding the time he spent as the head researcher for the Reece Committee Congressional Investigation of Tax Exempt Foundations. Dodd will outline how the elite Carnegie Endowment for International Peace examined the question of whether there was any means more effective than war to alter the lives of an entire people. The trustees decided there was not and soon began working to get the United States engaged in the First World War. They warned President Wilson to not end American intervention too soon so that this total reshaping of society could continue. The Endowment then turned to the long term subversive project, assisted by other elite foundations such as Ford and Rockefeller, to radically transform American education, particularly in regard to the teaching of American history.
