The tide finally seems to be turning in WWIII, with the enemy’s commanders at the CDC hollering, “At ease! You can take off those masks!”
But why? And why now? Is Leviathan about to unleash another, worse ploy, as so many of you suspect?
Meanwhile, what a marvel that Americans, with their notorious aversion to discomfort and inconvenience, allowed Our Rulers to muzzle them for over a year! But OK, if they didn’t object to those twin devils, isn’t vanity still a major component of the culture? And yet, even the deceitful CDC conceded that COVIDCon preys primarily on the elderly (and who wants to admit he’s ancient?) and—far worse—the obese. So why don’t the masses equate masks with—ugh!—FAT. Old, flabby, unhealthy: that’s the sort of Moron who muzzles himself. Why, then, did so many serfs happily grab a place in that ugly category?
Regardless, your fellow Patriots continue fighting WWIII in their particular theaters—some of them literal.
Up first is Darrel in California, who congratulated his town’s “small local theater” when it “FINALLY open[ed] up.” Alas, the playhouse requires patrons to muzzle themselves. Darrel wrote the manager:
…We’ve spent tens of thousands of dollars this last year in support of businesses who refuse to enforce the mask mandates as there are medical exemptions written in to every code (not law) that says:
“Except where doing so is not recommended due to age, may worsen a health or medical condition, or is otherwise exempted by local or state order.”
And some businesses have honored those rules and some haven’t.
I have a medical condition, my kids have trouble breathing in masks and i won’t be shamed for having a medical condition, or be forced to reveal my medical condition, which is contrary to actual HIPPA laws (as opposed to executive orders that believe are laws)
So those who allow people to mask and unmask as their medical conditions allow are places we patronage, and where we recommend others do and do not patronage.
I personally have been able to shift the spending habbits of many of my friends who will now shop more and more where their medical exemptions are allowed and they’re not made to feel like lesser people because they are not as healthy as others.
Not to say your business is doing this or not yet. I am just encouraging you to make sure that people with medical issues preventing masking are not forced to mask. And that nobody is illegally asking people what their medical condition is.
I hope you will honor the HIPPA laws of our county, state, and country, and not ask people to disclose their medical history.
Also, the deaf have been greatly troubled by the mask mandates that no longer allow them to read people’s lips and has basically utterly and completely turned them from fully functioning members of society to now fully handicapped that need to be escorted around as if they are infants. This is a horrible evil that has been done to them.
And asthmatics, like myself, have been demonized and mocked and yelled at simply because we cannot breathe with paper over our faces.
This is madness and so anti-community.
I pray, and hope, that when you post signs at your theater you will make it very clear that those who have medical issues will not be prejudiced or treated harshly or badly and i will proudly recommend your business as a safe place where people can commune and fellowship safely and take the precautions they need, and also respect the disabled and medically challenged.
Thank you very very much for your time in reading and pondering this.
Thank you for penning it, Darrel. Letters like this carry tons of weight with businesses.

do[es] at least 3/4 of my shopping at a major grocery chain near my home. They have a sign in front of the store … that masks are required, but they do not enforce it.
The employees, including managers and assistant managers have always been friendly to me, and have never said a word about me not wearing a mask, even if I was talking to them. Generally, over the last year, there have been very few others in the store not wearing a mask.
That has changed over the last month or so; especially since the governor lifted the mask mandates. Sunday morning I went into the store to buy some orange juice just after they opened. The self checkout stands were not open yet, so I had to get in line at the only open register.
There were three people in front of me … And for the first I can remember in over a year, none of us had a mask on. Four people in line maskless! The cashier (whose mask was below her nose) commented on it and said that everywhere she had gone lately, people were not wearing masks.
Another example for optimism in Arizona. And when I was getting into my car to leave, I saw another man entering the store without a mask. Woo-hoo!
…there’s reason for hope.
But an anonymous neighbor in Colorado disagrees with that rosy assessment:
I was at Walmart on an errand today. I have been able to walk in and shop there with a naked face during the entire COVID operation. I am healthy; I can’t even recall the last time I had a head cold, let alone any type of flu.
But I am still amazed that nobody else realizes they can walk in without a mask. They don’t even try? They still don’t realize the mask is a lie?
But shopping with 99.9999 percent masqueradi, who also appear to be in a trance, is so depressing that I usually rush through the store as quickly as possible. Afterward, I end up with such a sense of distaste and foreboding.
What this country and the world are undergoing is more than Communism, Marxism, Corporatism, or anything medical, political or economic — although these aspects are all involved.
This COVID operation has revealed that most of humanity has an intellectual, psychological, spiritual, ethical, and cultural dearth. It existed anyway, but this operation has brought it to the surface like nothing else.
“Demoralization,” “ennui,” and “malaise” are all words I would use to describe the situation. But I’m not sure they entirely capture what is happening. Everywhere I look, everything is threadbare and pitiful, and shows no signs of recovery.

watch[es] the 11 PM TV news from SF every few days to see if the narrative/propaganda has changed. Just three nights ago the narrative was all masks and getting the vaccines. The reporters all wore masks. The people they interviewed all wore masks. The stories were all about getting the vaccines.
But tonight, lo and behold! Suddenly even reporter Andrea Borba nee Gorda took off her mask! I haven’t seen her full face on the news for over a year. None of the reporters wore masks tonight. The only time I saw masks was with two doctors they showed for a second in their office or walking outside with masks on, but during the interview with the doctors… no masks.
San Francisco is now in the lowest safest yellow tier. Now the narrative changes: the vaccines worked! You can all come out now and go to the restaurants (none of those shown were full). Again, no masks.
The biggest story was about how all the kids are getting fat around here from the lockdown. The kids have gained around 15 to 20 pounds! A few kids went the other way and look like concentration camp victims. How sad.
But of course the Ken Bastarda anchor of KPIX News never mentions how the government was responsible for this happening or the school boards. …
And the final story, which shows the new fear narrative. Looks like the Covid propaganda fear campaign is over (no masks). “Extreme Drought” is the new fear narrative. The whole Bay Area is in Extreme Drought!
So put away your masks, but also put away that watering hose and sprinkler system. No washing your cars or yourself. Clean clothes? It’s hot. Just wear a thong.
A Patriot in Louisiana reports,
On a recent Saturday morning shift at least half of my customers were mask-free. Sometimes, however, things are beyond comprehension. I helped a woman, perhaps 40, fully masked. She was buying a long list of products for her mother, standing next to her. The mother was at least 80 and had her mask around her neck!
I am “required” to wear a mask on the job. Ninety percent of the time I wear my cheap disposable mask around my chin. This Saturday I pulled off the mask, folded it in half, and put it in my shirt pocket numerous times across the morning. I also unmasked whenever I had a “sneeze guard” between the customer and me. Sadly, all the assistant managers are masked up tight, even outside and after hours. I am testing the situation. When I arrived for work, and left the building after my shift, I went mask free on both occasions. No one said a word.
Still, I don’t see the company following the beneficence of our West Point grad governor by lifting the “mask mandate” on its employees. His oft-repeated stipulation that he, as the governor, could reinstate the “mask mandate” at any time, gives his concept of “lifting” very little weight. I know the company is freaked out at the corporate level over this issue. Even the people in the training videos are wearing masks. If, by chance, a video appears with someone unmasked, the phrase “this was filmed before the pandemic” appears at the bottom of the screen. I just hope local management will begin to look the other way when an employee opts out of the scam.
My store is part of a nationwide chain. I don’t like to go in unless I’m on the clock, so I often visit one some twenty miles to the south. The first cashier I saw wore no mask at all. Same for the associate who helped me with my purchase. Other female associates were masked up tight, but most of the guys had them around their chins. I asked to see a manager. A masked up cashier pointed in the direction of a female manager fiddling with her mask while talking to another customer. When she finished, I approached her and complimented the associates that helped me… I almost laughed as I watched her hold her mask against her nose. Her glasses were fogging up.
I drove my vision-impaired neighbor to the doctor this week. As we drove along he pulled out a mask and said, “Man, this is the most comfortable mask I’ve ever had.” I said, “Hey, take that thing off! It won’t do you any good!” He was startled by my comment and refused to remove the mask. We were riding in a car. After a minute he went on to say that there is a Covid-19 “variance” and that “the worst is yet to come.” He also disclosed that construction of a mask factory was being considered in a nearby town. When I suggested that the whole thing was a hoax and that people are dying from the “vaccine,” he just said “Well, some have died.” I decided to drop it there. We rode the rest of the way in silence.
I grieve for our people and our nation. His attitude, I am certain, is typical of the vast majority of Americans.
But, he adds, there are
some small lights of hope:
- At the grocery store: “Face Covering Required” has been replaced with “Face Coverings Encouraged.”
- At Walmart: The fitting rooms are now open.
Nathan Williams rejoices over
no more mask orders in Florida!!
We’re certainly very fortunate to live here. Glad to see the governor here has some respect for allowing us to make our own choices. We’ll see how many of the drones continue to wear them.
…it’s discouraging that I still see so many people wearing them. It took me awhile to understand the symbolism of those things, but in seeing how so many cling to them (violently in some cases), it’s become clear to me where most people place their faith, which is not where they should, let’s say.
…things have been mixed here overall. I go mask-free pretty much everywhere. I’ve only had one person say something and a few dirty looks, including a Nazi-esque girl at the grocery store last summer when the ordinance first went into effect. Hopefully complaints to the manager about her attitude helped because they soon backed off. It seems many of the clerks at the grocery story appreciate seeing someone with a bare face. It seemed like I was seeing more people w/o masks in the last couple of weeks, but it was really sparse over the fall and winter. The one place of refuge is our church – masks totally optional; hardly anyone wears one there. Of course, you go to smaller towns in the vicinity and mask usages drop pretty significantly. At this point, it’s really clear to spot who the true believers are, which includes those people who put them on their little children (disgusting!!). The hardest thing of course is dealing with family who are trapped in the cult.

was shopping in a well-known home improvement chain store, and a fellow patron, certainly well over six feet away, muttered under his breath about my maskless visage. He then trotted over to one of the store’s employees and snitched on me. I overheard the employee say to the angered patron, “We’re not allowed to say anything.”
Good practice.
Robert Katz from Arkansas
was walking through my favorite park the other day when I spotted a young one (20 ish), wearing a mask while sitting on a bench reading a book.
… The bookworm was about 20 yards away from me. The trail I was on is traveled infrequently.
You might see a couple of people every hour or so. The trail was also on a much lower level from where she was seated.
Other than that trail, the closest humans to the book reader are about 3/4 mile away.
But she was wearing her mask.
I enter that as a contender for the title of ‘Greatest absurdity of (wo)mankind.’

read about Biden’s so called mask mandate on federal property. And I had to return an item I’d bought that turned out to be a terrible purchase on my part. So that meant I had to go to the local post office, a federal building.
Now lately, I’ve decided to confront rather than remain passive over this mask issue. I want the clerk or the manager to get into it with me. I don’t want to return harsh words or raise my voice, but I do want to make sure they know they haven’t a leg to stand on.
I wanted to be prepared. I downloaded the Biden EO regarding this topic and read it. This re-enforced my long-held belief that the media never tells the truth, ever. The EO applies only to federal employees and contractors. Not me or you.
I printed my label and the EO and headed to the post office, ready for somebody, anybody to raise the imposter’s authority.
But nothing happened. In spite of the fact that I was the only unmasked person in line, and the masked were giving me a fearfully wide berth, nobody said a thing, not even the clerk. It was as if they knew I was prepared and didn’t want to confront me.
I paid my exorbitant fee, got my tracking number and walked out. The clerk was friendly even and one nice lady opened the door for me.
There is a local coffee shop that I visit where nobody masks up and which the Karens often report to the local health authority. She has had a sign posted that says “Masks Required” though most everyone who comes in refuses to comply. The sign was put up because of the health department. They claimed the sign was itself required.
But last week she angrily ripped it down after Governor Brown put our county into the “extreme” category, with rising case counts and no deaths. But instead of imposing it immediately, the governor waited two weeks. “To prepare people.”
This really made it clear that it isn’t about health even to some of the starry eyed true believers. My favorite restaurant responded by continuing to serve people indoors. Staff still wear masks but they are not hassling maskless customers at all and never really were. For a very long time they were takeout only.

was in the parking lot of a grocery store. A college student walks out of the store with a mask on, puts his groceries into his vehicle, takes the cart over to the pen and gets into his car all while wearing a mask. I watch him leave. He has the mask off and the windows rolled down.
Now why is he wearing a mask outside but then takes his mask off in the car and rolls down the windows?
Because he’s a proud product of America’s educational gulag.
In Illinois, Steve is
Still going everywhere bare faced. Grocery store, Walgreens, O’Reilly’s, Walmart, Farm and Home store. Restaurants. AutoZone wouldn’t let me be there, but when I left the lady followed me out the door and asked if she could find something for me.
I had a doctor appointment this week – new to me doc at a local clinic that I’d never been to. Went in without any face covering, saw a sign requesting but not requiring face masks, ignored same. Just acted like I was doing what I should be doing.
I interacted with the receptionist, then two or three staffers, then the doctor. All were masked. And all were exceptionally nice.
The mask subject never came up. No dirty looks of disapproval, no remarks, nothing. …
Anyone who hasn’t tested the waters a little is missing out. I almost look forward to going out now.
Finally, like many of you, Your Intrepid Reporter doesn’t even own a mask. I have attended funerals, visited an emergency clinic for a bad case of contact dermatitis last summer, and regularly shopped for groceries and other necessities, all without ever muzzling myself. And I’ve encountered so little opposition that I can echo Steve’s enthusiastic, “Anyone who hasn’t tested the waters a little is missing out.”
But earlier this week, my husband and I stopped at a Dollar General. A man at the door whom my husband recognized as the manager asked, “Do you have a mask?”
I retorted, “Nope, and we want one, either” as we sailed past.
He didn’t bother us again until we were paying for our purchases. It was 10 AM, so we were just about the only customers in the place. He didn’t approach us but instead cleared his throat and announced, “I’d like your attention.”
I continued drooling over some candy bars instead of looking at him. Aggrieved, he said, “OK, don’t anybody listen to me.”
My husband is way too nice sometimes, and this was one of those times. He said, “Sorry, sir, please go ahead.”
“OK. Look, we all have our rights,” he began, and then from behind his mask tried to convince us he agrees that they’re useless and that no one should tell us what to wear—but the Health Department had inspected his store last week and threatened to close him down because 25% of the patrons were bare-faced.
My jaw may have dropped at that good news. I seldom ever see anyone in any store without a mask, let alone a quarter of my fellow shoppers.
Mr. Manager continued trying to convince us that he respects our freedom, but we should realize that if we return—-ahem: don’t worry, there’s no danger of that—without proper face-coverings, why, we could cost him and his employees their jobs. And of course, he implied, that would be so selfish.
“I hate this thing,” he said for the dozenth time, pulling at the mask. He added that “corporate” requires him to enforce this nonsense.
“Then quit,” I said.
“I can’t. They pay me too much.”
Ah, yes: the spirit of ‘76. And this dude called us selfish?
But with WWIII apparently winding down, perhaps the Morons, or at last some of them, will ditch their uniforms.
I devoutly hope this is my last update on the Mask War. Ergo, let me extend heartiest congratulations and deepest thanks to all those who persevered, who refused to knuckle under, who upheld liberty and declined to be bullied, coerced, and shamed, who rejected the fear-porn.
This was a year that tried men’s souls. The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot did, in this crisis, shrink from the service of liberty; but he that stood by it now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman. Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered; yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly: it is dearness only that gives every thing its value. Heaven knows how to put a proper price upon its goods; and it would be strange indeed if so celestial an article as FREEDOM should not be highly rated.
May God continue to help and guide us as we defend His heavenly gift.
