S&P 500 ↑ 77.6%

Silver ↑ 63.25%
Obviously one can’t invest in averages and indices but rather funds that attempt to imitate their performance. Here are a few for comparison purposes (Oct. 14, 2022 to Oct. 14, 2024):
Vanguard 500 (VFIAX) ↑ 63.5%
Vanguard Total Market (VTSAX) ↑ 60.8%
Vanguard Growth (VIGAX) ↑ 88.2%

It should go without saying or writing, but gold and silver, unlike Vanguard shares, are tangible and can be kept anywhere. Hence the devotion in so many areas of the liberty realm/movement.
