How important that we reject the democratic myth, and separate the American government from the American people, the parasite from the host, and the same in other countries. We are not the government; don’t ever say “we” when you mean the federal parasite. Indeed, we taxpayers have far more in common with the demonized people of Iran, for example, than they do with their government, or we do with the imperial hot tub in DC.
