Today, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced new representation and inclusion standards for Oscars® eligibility in the Best Picture category, as part of its Academy Aperture 2025 initiative. The standards are designed to encourage equitable representation on and off screen in order to better reflect the diversity of the movie-going audience.
I shan’t bore you with the details of assessing, dissecting, and tabulating the cast and director’s parentage, sexual preferences, handicaps, etc; Marxism in practice is mind-numbing. Suffice to say that the Academy’s various “inclusionary” requirements will purge the microscopic bit of creativity and storytelling left in Howlywood’s productions, leaving but pure propaganda. And of course the requisite pornography. Perhaps movie-goers will finally boycott this garbage as it has so richly deserved for decades.
Thanks to Fritz Groszkruger for brightening my day!
