Tom, I hope you suffer no long-term health effects from watching the “Salute to Chris Kyle.” I am glad that you did so those of us who vomit easily did not have to. I recently blogged about Mrs. Chris Kyle speaking at an event sponsored by a Christian school. This reporter (and daily LRC reader), Max McNabb, attended the event. While there he was able to question the pastor: “When we link the church so strongly with warfare, doesn’t that hinder spreading the Gospel in nations that we’re at war with?” Be sure to read the pastor’s response and the reporter’s observations.
