At least a dozen or more American POWs – imprisoned at Hiroshima – were killed in this bombing. Their presence was known in advance of the dropping of the bomb. Just another example of how the politically-powerful are prepared to make any sacrifice – particularly of other people’s children – in furtherance of their ambitions.
