Neal Boortz

Although I have listened to bits and pieces of Neal Boortz over the years and read his books, I listened to a full hour of  him the other day for the first time in my life. Two observations.

1. He talked about two topics—one in the first half of the show and the other in the second. Although everything he said about Obama and his topics was true, the discussion of each topic could have been done in 5 minutes. All he did was drag each topic out for the 20 or so minutes of each half hour that doesn’t have commercials. Talk about beating a dead horse.

2. Boortz railed against income transfers, which is surprising since the FairTax he promotes includes an income transfer payment to everyone in the country called a “prebate.”
