Flaming Freedom

January 7, 2021

Ah, Poetic Justice! inspired Matt Laise to confess,

The part that resonated with me wasn’t the poetic justice of [Congresscritters] crying for the police.  It was that they are actively scared of the people.  What I see everywhere is stories about the powerful cowering in fear because what happened today reminded them that the power they possess is predicated on the people going along with it.

As Jefferson said long ago: “When governments fear the people, there is liberty. When the people fear the government, there is tyranny”.  Today was a perfect example that even in the face of the plandemic and countless other usurpations the flame of liberty is still smoldering.

Time for it to burst into flames so fierce they consume every despot from sea to shining sea.
