The author of this exceptional article is precisely correct that Donald Trump is clearly no libertarian. He will not be mouthing innocuous watered down platitudes in soothing rhetoric such as #TeamGov Johnson/Weld. The author does not however focus on Trump’s declared war on the establishment elites and the deep state and why they consider him anathema. The central issue in this critical 2016 presidential election is to challenge, expose, and dismantle the leviathan deep state, especially its explosive growth from 2001 under Bush and Obama. Trump is engaged in this herculean effort to undermine the very legitimacy of that regime and its perceived credibility as no previous candidate. He is a dagger plunged into the dark, clotted heart of that criminal state. That is why they hate, fear, and loathe him. But on the other side of the deep statist aisle there is no such question posed. Hillary Clinton is the very embodiment of the deep state.
