It is pointed out here that Chris Kyle is actually similar in many respects to the fictional helicopter gunner from the Stanley Kubrick film “Full Metal Jacket” that is set in the Vietnam War. Funny that Kyle’s 160 certified kills of Iraqi “damn savages” is just a few more than the door gunner’s 157 certified “dead gooks killed.”
