Subject: Re: FW: MEST article.
I want to tell you something on a personal level. I was never formally educated beyond an Associate’s Degree and even that was a vocational degree in Computer Networking. I am 38 years old now and have really hit my stride at a senior level as an engineer specializing in Microsoft enterprise management software. As a professional my technical skills are important of course, but my command of the English language, my thought process, and most importantly my perspective and values have provided success and positive reinforcement with my clients and it occurred to me just yesterday who is most responsible for that. It’s you, Lew Rockwell, Tom DiLorenzo, Hans Hoppe, Rothbard and Mises. You have been like fathers to me though we have never met. You’ve changed my world view, and you’ve made me a better man. I wish I could summon words I felt were sufficient in expressing my gratitude for that. In the meantime I will say thank you. R
Dear R: I am delighted I contributed to your life in this way. I am honored to be included among those august names you mention, all of them heroes of mine. As it happens, I have a son who is very close to your age so I can emphasize even the more. Best regards, Walter
