Tampa’s Despotic Dyke, a.k.a., Mayor Jane Castor, has threatened
that maskless football fans participating in the festivities [last weekend] will be “identified” and law enforcement “will handle it.” … Castor… extended the requirements of her indoor mask mandate to the outdoors two weeks ago in anticipation of the many football fans who would be descending upon the city for the Super Bowl. … Castor’s recent order [to diaper oneself] allows for a $500 civil penalty.”
“In anticipation of the many football fans…” Oh, the implications of craft and guile! Because when your own foolishness curtails your “revenue,” you can mitigate it by fining folks for naked faces.
If I had attended the SuperBowl, I’d be worried: the dragnet will have to be pretty wide to compensate for said shortfalls.

Meanwhile, you guessed it: Despotic Dyke flouted her own mandate. I’m sure she’ll be first in line to pay her fine.
