In the Defund Planned Parenthood Act of 2015 (H.R.3134) that was introduced in the House of Representatives on July 21, there is an exception on funding for Planned Parenthood if it performs abortions:
(1) if the pregnancy is the result of an act of rape or incest; or
(2) in the case where a woman suffers from a physical disorder, physical injury, or physical illness that would, as certified by a physician, place the woman in danger of death unless an abortion is performed, including a life-endangering physical condition caused by or arising from the pregnancy itself.
This is why I ask if pro-life Republicans are really pro-life. A child of rape is still an innocent life like a child of a married couple or a child of fornication. We know, of course, that most pro-lifers are pro-death when it comes to children in Iraq and Afghanistan who are already out of the womb.
