More GOP Baloney

John Kasich, GOP governor of Ohio, former U.S. House member, and presidential wannabe, has a new take on compassionate conservatism: “When you die and get to the meeting with St. Peter, he’s probably not going to ask you much about what you did about keeping government small. But he is going to ask you what you did for the poor. You better have a good answer.”

When Kasich talks about doing something for the poor, don’t think for a minute that he is talking about you or him taking money out of a wallet and giving it to the poor. His idea of helping the poor is those in government like himself taking money by force out of your wallet and redistributing it to the poor after it passes through layers of government bureaucracy. Perhaps it is Kasich who better come up with a good answer.
