One of the most amusing aspects of the OWS protests is that Unions have now joined in. The Unions! You know—groups of greedy people who use the guns of government to force other people to associate/contract with them in order to be paid more than what the market signals they would be paid if they were voluntarily associating/contracting with those other people. By the way, of the 30 “greedy” corporations that make up the Dow Jones Average, I voluntarily use the products or services of only six; the other 24 I do not use at all. (Huh?? You mean I’m not forced to use their products or services???)

This predominantly left-wing misguided* protest reminds me of an old joke:

A man is driving his wife to a destination. After awhile the wife seems concerned so she asks her husband, “Do you know where we’re going?”

The husband responds, “No—but we’re making great time!”
