Is RFK’s Nomination to HHS an Answer to Prayer?

I believe RFK Jr. is the ideal candidate to bring about much-needed reform within the American healthcare system.

On November 13, 2024, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. (RFK Jr.) was nominated as the Secretary of  Health and Human Services (HHS), a position of tremendous importance that oversees the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the National Institutes of Health (NIH), and various other agencies. But long before that, for 19 years, RFK Jr., who was raised Catholic and was, until recently, a lifelong Democrat, prayed for 30 minutes every morning to be in a position to end the chronic disease epidemic and restore the health of children in America.

In August 2024, when President Donald J. Trump invited RFK Jr. to join his transition team, it felt as though God was finally answering those prayers. A tremendous bipartisan effort made this nomination possible, dealing a significant blow to the leftist machinery of deception and misinformation. Trump’s re-election stood as a bold indictment of the military-industrial complex, Big Pharma, and the contemptible legacy media that is fading away.

The whole Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) campaign was a key ingredient to Trump’s landslide victory on November 5, 2024. RFK Jr.’s running mate, Nicole Shanahan, (another lifelong Democrat) produced powerful videos promoting not only MAHA but also MAGA, including one about Trump Derangement Syndrome titled, “Ask Your Doctor if Independence is Right for You,” another about the misunderstood MAGA movement, and one about the chronic illness epidemic. I encourage open-minded critics of Trump, RFK Jr., and the Unity Movement to watch these videos.

Trump claimed all of 2024’s seven battleground states—Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin—and also became only the second Republican to win the popular vote since Ronald Reagan in 1988. This moment marked one of the greatest comebacks in American political history, showcasing how good people can set aside their differences for the sake of unity. Not only America but the world will undoubtedly benefit from this collaboration. Positive changes are on the horizon, bringing hope not only to supporters but also to the skeptics. The future holds promise for America and the world at large.

Over the years, RFK Jr. has distinguished himself as a leader in advocating for health freedom and greater government transparency. In 2005, RFK Jr. began writing about the chronic disease epidemic, particularly among children; and the media took great efforts to silence him at a time when the silence coming from the majority of pediatricians, scientists, and government officials was deafening. Most notably, RFK Jr. wrote a widely read article, “Deadly Immunity,” that was published in the July 14, 2005, issue of Rolling Stone and, simultaneously, on the website SalonSalon eventually removed his article in 2011. This should come as no surprise since the media is largely funded by Big Pharma.

Every year, Big Pharma spends billions of dollars on digital and TV ads. They also contribute significantly to political campaigns. The only high-income nations that permit unfettered pharmaceutical direct-to-consumer advertising are the U.S. and New Zealand. RFK Jr. wants to stop Big Pharma from running advertisements on television.

In 2016, to further combat this silence, he founded Children’s Health Defense (CHD)—an organization that, although based in America, has a broad global reach in terms of advocacy for vaccine safety, environmental health, and children’s rights. Despite the significant risks to his career, life, and reputation, RFK Jr. kept diligently moving forward with his mission. Now, with Trump’s victory and his nomination as Secretary of the HHS, his prayers are nearing fulfillment.

As debates over the future of U.S. health policy continue, RFK Jr.’s nomination as Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS) has sparked both optimism among supporters and criticism from detractors. Renowned for his environmental advocacy and outspoken views on health freedom, RFK Jr.’s possible leadership could signal a significant change in how Health and Human Services addresses topics such as nutrition, vaccine safety, and government transparency.

Below I will examine why I believe RFK Jr. is the ideal candidate to bring about much-needed reform within the American healthcare system, which will hopefully have a ripple effect abroad, including in my home country of Canada, which is also in need of major reform. I will also discuss his views on abortion, which Christians find concerning, and some of the challenges he may encounter.

A Strong Advocate for Health Freedom

A History of Legal Action against Pharmaceutical Companies

RFK Jr.’s legal career is firmly grounded in environmental law, where he has made notable contributions to advancing public health and environmental protection. However, one of his most prominent areas of focus has been challenging major pharmaceutical companies, especially regarding their role in vaccine safety and public health. His legal efforts against Big Pharma stress the need for transparency, corporate responsibility, and the prevention of harm from unsafe products. Through this work, he has become a strong advocate for holding pharmaceutical companies accountable for their impact on public health.

RFK Jr. has long argued that Big Pharma prioritizes profits over consumer health, particularly in the development and distribution of vaccines. He has voiced concerns about the safety of vaccines, particularly the use of chemicals and additives like mercury (in the form of thimerosal) as a preservative in some vaccines. He often argues that the absence of thorough, independent scientific investigations into vaccine safety has allowed potentially harmful practices to become widespread. His legal actions aim to compel these companies to address safety issues transparently and take full responsibility for their conduct.

Vaccine Safety and the Role of Thimerosal

One of RFK Jr.’s most prominent legal battles against Big Pharma and vaccine manufacturers has centered on thimerosal, a mercury-based preservative used in some vaccines. Despite the removal of thimerosal from most childhood vaccines in the early 2000s, its widespread use in various vaccines continued for decades. The scientific community has largely rejected RFK Jr.’s vocal claims that mercury exposure through vaccines could link to neurological conditions like autism. This is well documented in his 2015 book, Thimerosal: Let the Science Speak: The Evidence Supporting the Immediate Removal of Mercury—a Known Neurotoxin—from Vaccines.

RFK Jr.’s legal efforts, despite the ongoing debate over thimerosal’s safety, have focused on pressing pharmaceutical companies for greater transparency regarding mercury’s use in vaccines and seeking compensation for those potentially harmed by thimerosal-containing vaccines. His advocacy for vaccine safety is part of a broader movement calling for stronger oversight of the pharmaceutical industry and greater accountability in vaccine production and distribution.

2016 Whistleblower Case of Dr. William Thompson

RFK Jr. supported the whistleblower case of Dr. William Thompson, a senior scientist at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), who alleged that data linking the MMR (measles, mumps, and rubella) vaccine to autism in African-American boys was suppressed. RFK Jr. has often cited this case as evidence of corruption within the CDC and the pharmaceutical industry.

On the Covid Debacle

His relentless efforts—with the aid of esteemed medical doctors such as the highly-cited cardiologist Peter McCullough and mRNA technology architect Robert Malone—to expose the corruption, misinformation, and incessant censorship surrounding the Covid crisis, which I have also critiqued at length in my book COVID-19: A Dystopian Delusion, were fundamental to exposing bad actors throughout Covid and elevating the truth about the Covid vaccines. At the end of 2021, RFK Jr. published a book titled The Real Anthony Fauci: Bill Gates, Big Pharma, and the Global War on Democracy and Public Health. This book has remained largely uncontested, and Fauci has not sued him for many of his damning claims, including crimes against humanity, suggesting that RFK Jr. is correct on his charges against Fauci.

As he advocates for healthier living through regular physical activity and better food choices, RFK Jr. has also advocated for the use of early preventative treatments like hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin, which are extremely inexpensive ways to combat Covid without the need for harmful mRNA vaccines.

If anything, RFK Jr.’s tireless efforts have shown, as evidenced by a recent discovery from the CDC (see below), the deep need for government transparency. RFK Jr. is advocating for informed consent. Informed consent is not possible without reliable, trustworthy information on the potential dangers of a medical intervention. It is also important to note that not all medical interventions work for all people; differences such as physiological makeup, one’s history of medical conditions, allergies, and so forth matter, and although they can work for certain patients, they may have detrimental effects for other patients.
