According to an article in the Washington Post, Hugh Kirkpatrick is head of the Nashville company Elite Source Pro that is behind the “bible.” About 600 preorders have been placed from thirty states. “The new Bible is a clear symbol of Christian nationalism,” said Paul Miller, a professor at Georgetown University who is working on a forthcoming book on nationalism, Christianity and American identity. According to an article in the Tennessean, “Kirkpatrick said he’s fielded about 70 emails since the Bible’s announcement and roughly 60% have been critical of the project.”

God bless the USA? Why should he? Is it because the USA is the abortion capital of the world, the pornography capital of the world, the drug capital of the world, or the transgender capital of the world? I am still trying to figure out which one.
