Trick or Treat! Awww, Ain't ISIS Cute in Their Costume?

Wow, who knew that Halloween was such a patriotic, Amurican holiday?! I sure didn’t. I thought Halloween was some pagan Celtic holdover that got incorporated into being a festival of honoring dead ancestors. Of course, it took a lot of work and mutation to become what it is today, as well as some recent marketing department magic, so to speak. But Halloween as an Amurican holiday? Yeah, uh-huh, sure. I’ll see your Amurican Halloween and raise you Dias de los Muertos.

Have a look at the article. Ok, so yeah, some whiners wanted to ban Halloween. This is nothing new, because if it really was “the Muslims” wanting to ban Halloween, they were preceded by American evangelical Christians by Leegoal Novelty Latex ... Plus, let’s not forget the 1970s-era scares over poisoned candy and razor-blade spiked apples that called off Halloween in some regions altogether. But, seriously, people? Do we need to turn Halloween into another Amurican paean to militarism and other assorted Amurican bigotry?

Look at this quote from an online petition: “These are our American customs and traditions and we should not have to give them up because others find them offensive!” As I said, Halloween is not an Amurican custom or tradition. Indigenous American “customs and traditions” are Native American in origin. Everything else was brought over here from the Old World. But if we’re talking about Amurican traditions and customs, then I see what they’re getting at, but not in the way they think.

The Beauty-Way Hallowe... Check Amazon for Pricing. America has a proud custom and tradition of dressing up and pretending to be someone you are not in order to gain treats. It’s called “elections” and we’re in the middle of just such a charade right now. The ultimate “Trick or Treat”, the 2016 Presidential Elections. Indeed, they can dress up as anyone—a great leader, a fiscal conservative, a champion of the poor, a peacemaker—and never have to actually BE any of those things. They just appear at the polling places yelling “Vote or Treat!” Yes, they trick us and we treat them to a lifetime of parasitism upon the fusty corpse of the body politic. Spooky, indeed!

There were some truly precious quotes on that petition, though. “People coming to a new country should adapt to its ways or not partake in its traditional events. The host country should not have to change to accommodate newcomers,” noted one signer. “People coming to a new country should adapt to its ways or not partake in its traditional events. The host country should not have to change to accommodate newcomers,” noted another. Yes, this is what my mother’s people said when the Europeans showed up here to civilize us. Yeah, and gave us Halloween, too. And voting! Hooray!

Mask-arade George Bush... Buy New $6.12 (as of 08:10 UTC - Details) Yes, it truly is funny the things Amuricans get all in a lather about. Forget the fact that another Amurican custom and tradition—regime change—has just cost us $500 million dollars (that we know of so far) in Syria. Yes, CIA-backed Syrian “rebels” are being picked off with impunity by Russian aircraft and I would wager we’ll soon find out those “rebels” were actually ISIS all along and we KNEW that. I daresay the real price tag is several billions of dollars and the CIA was embedded with ISIS or those they knew to be Muslim extremists these parents fear are trying to ban Halloween. Yeah, you’re afraid of Muslims banning Halloween? Why don’t you ask your government exactly what they were doing in Syria? Hmmm? Just who, precisely, was going to run Syria if our little regime change had worked? Who are these CIA-backed “rebels”, anyway? Why did the term for them change from “moderates” to “rebels” over the past week, yet, both were CIA-backed? Yeah, I bet we’ve been tricked into funding more terrorists and treated to more debt.

Yes, I find myself more and more curious these days about this whole Syria escapade. The U.S. has just recently parachuted weapons to these rebels. Hey, anyone hear about that? So, this war goes on and we’re still supporting the Squirrel Mask Buy New $22.77 (as of 07:55 UTC - Details) terrorists. But what’s actually happened is that we’ve been sucked into a semi-proxy war along the lines of the Afghan-Soviet War. And remember what came out of that war? Yes, al-Qaida. Just like ISIS has come out of this one. I think the CIA is rather skilled at creating entities such as this. Their ability to do what they do would certainly say someone has trained them well. These aren’t farmboys that found their daddy’s Kalashnikov in the barn and went off to fight the jihad.

Putin said something interesting. “Now, we often hear that our pilots are striking the wrong targets, not IS,” Putin said at a public forum in Moscow explaining that Russia had asked Washington to provide a list of targets. But Washington refused to do so. “‘No, we are not ready for this’ was the answer,” Putin quoted them as saying. “Then we thought again and asked another question: Then tell us where we should not strike. No answer too,” he said, adding: “That is not a joke. I did not make this up.”

”How is it possible to work together?” he asked. Well, we know why that is. It’s because the U.S. has got caught here. Those “rebels” and “moderates” ARE ISIS. That is why we can’t tell the Russians who to bomb—-all of them are our guys!

Look, why do you think it is we’ve been allegedly bombing ISIS for a year now and they’ve only gotten stronger? Because we needed Assad to be toppled. That was THE job at hand, not getting rid of ISIS. To the extent we could use ISIS to weaken Assad, we certainly did so. Trick or treat, Amurica. Those Syrian moderates were ISIS dressed up in Halloween costumes as Thomas Jeffersons the government wanted you to see.

So, here we are again with yet another terrorist organization created by our government. The whole world will have to deal with them for the next twenty years. Wow, that’s not just candy corn! Yes, Halloween really is a proud Amurican custom and tradition. Our government dresses up as people it’s not and dresses up terrorists as “freedom fighters”. Trick or treat! This house of horrors will scare us for many a Halloween to come.
