It’s been a banner month for anyone who despises the deceitful TSA. Not once but twice, the agency has proved itself a complete, unrepentant liar.
Breitbart News reported earlier this summer that the TSA was “ALLOWING ILLEGALS TO FLY WITHOUT VERIFIABLE ID,” according to the “BORDER PATROL UNION.” (Since “illegals” usually lack a driver’s license from the USSA, the TSA forced them instead to show “a Notice to Appear form, a document often based solely on the word of the illegal alien as to who they are and where they are from.” This sheet, which US Immigration and Customs Enforcement issues, “has no photo, anyone can make one and manipulate one. They do not have any security features, no watermark, nothing. They are simply printed on standard copy paper based on the information the illegal alien says is the truth.”)
Such fretting is, of course, nonsensical. The TSA’s security theater of the absurd protects nothing but its own backside; whether it [amazon asin=0988203227&template=*lrc ad (right)]demands ID from everyone or only those passengers wearing pink polka-dotted sweaters does little to improve aviation’s safety. If you doubt that, remember that Muhammad Atta, leading man in the federal fairytale entitled 9/11, had no criminal record. He’d have passed any scrutiny of his papers with flying colors. Then, too, we know the precise identities of 535 criminals and their ringleader in DC, yet these sociopaths still conspire to rob, plunder, loot, and murder worldwide.
So who cares if some poor, beleaguered Mexican managed to board a plane with a bit less violation of the Fourth Amendment? I say kudos to him and here’s hoping the phenomenon spreads. The Border Patrol Union’s fear-mongering on this, amplified courtesy of Breitbart, is about as fatuous as it gets.
No matter: the demagogues were in full cry. “Border Patrol Union representative out of the Laredo sector Jarrad Seely” transparently tried to induce envy, xenophobia, and paranoia: “Sad to say a normal law abiding American citizen has to remove their shoes to get on an airplane these days and go through additional screening. For the U.S government to allow undocumented aliens access to our commercial transportation in the form of airlines is a giant security risk.” Yeah, those dastardly aliens might disembark somewhere to pick fruit or clean toilets.
As predictably as power corrupts, the TSA came out swinging. The agency that lies about everything, all the time, smeared the Border [amazon asin=0988203200&template=*lrc ad (right)]Patrol and Breitbart as liars. It “told Action 4 News”—and a multitude of other outlets as well—”these reports are false. A notice to appear is not an acceptable form of I.D. at the T.S.A checkpoint.”
Except it turns out it was.
On August 7, “Rep. Kenny Marchant (R-TX), … a member of the Border Security Caucus” received a letter from the TSA in which the agency admitted “that illegal aliens were being allowed to board planes using Notice to Appear forms received after entering the U.S. illegally. The revelation directly contradicts a TSA statement last month denying such allegations…” Indeed it did.
And yet the TSA is none the worse for wear. Its perverts continue groping passengers at airports, lording it over taxpayers, and bossing allegedly free citizens. Not a single congress-criminal has suggested disbanding this nest of liars and deviants.
Nor will any of them despite the next lie’s exposure following on the heels of the first. This second falsehood concerns the TSA’s porno-scanners.[amazon asin=0990463109&template=*lrc ad (right)]
In 2010, these gizmos invaded concourses nationwide. They came in two types, which differ in their technologies rather than their results: whether backscatter X-ray or millimeter-wave, both photograph passengers through their clothes to produce naked pictures of them.
You might expect such egregious perversion, such sweeping, universal, and official voyeurism, to have outraged every taxpayer. Especially those who fly. Especially those who fly with their families. Nope. Some objected, certainly: we call them “men.” But most of the sheeple obligingly queued for the TSA’s peep show.
Since mere morality didn’t move the herd, a “scientist, engineer, and frequent traveler” named Jonathan Corbett provided a practical reason to protest this indecent tyranny: he showed how easily “terrorists” could trick backscatter X-ray scanners. Positioning objects, including bombs and guns, in certain ways on the body hid them from the contraptions every time. He demonstrated and substantiated everything he said on YouTube.
Naturally, the TSA came out swinging again. It denounced Mr. Corbett as “some guy claiming he figured out a way to beat our body scanners…” A propagandist on the TSA’s blog bloviated, “I watched the video and it is a crude[amazon asin=0986036293&template=*lrc ad (right)] attempt to allegedly show how to circumvent TSA screening procedures. … Imaging technology has been extremely effective in the field and has found things artfully concealed on passengers as large as a gun or nonmetallic weapons, on down to a tiny pill or tiny baggies of drugs… [A porno-scanner is] one of the best tools available to detect metallic and non-metallic items…”
Oh, we don’t think so, said “a team of security researchers from the University of California at San Diego, the University of Michigan, and Johns Hopkins.” Note that these are all mainstream institutions, thoroughly corrupted from decades of Leviathan’s funding. Yet their personnel announced within the last fortnight that they had “test[ed] that same model of scanner [that Mr. Corbett did]. And not only did they find that Corbett’s weapon-hiding tactic worked; they also found that they could pull off a disturbing list of other possible tricks, such as using teflon tape to conceal weapons against someone’s spine, installing malware on the scanner’s console that spoofed scans, or simply molding plastic explosives around a person’s body to make it nearly indistinguishable from flesh in the machine’s images.”
Yes! The TSA once again revealed to all the world as a total liar!
