George Carlin. Don't Do it.
The
great comedian, author and satirist George Carlin needs little introduction
to LRC readers. Carlin has always included politics as part of his
material, bashing both conservatives and liberals alike – with
hilarious results. He often criticized elections as an illusion
of choice. He said the last time he voted was 1972, for George McGovern
who ran for President against Richard Nixon.
In
the following video Carlin gives his opinion of politicians, elections
and the voters who participate. But be warned: As is typical of
