Thrill seekers
with a head for heights were climbing over one and other to be among
the first to ride the world's tallest roller coaster as it was unveiled
on Friday.
The latest
addition to Adventure Park in Glenwood Springs, Colorado is set
on a base elevation of 7,000 feet, making it the highest roller
coaster in the world.
Named 'Cliffhanger',
the ride is literally perched atop an Iron Mountain cliff, overlooking
the city and offering glimpses of spectacular scenery.

Those brave enough to keep their eyes open witness panoramic views
up the Roaring Fork Valley and into the Glenwood Canyon, as their
carts roar around the tracks
