A few years back Conan O’Brien finally landed his long sought-after interview with famed author/journalist Hunter S. Thompson. Thompson who refused to conduct the interview in studio invited O’Brien to his shooting range/outdoor bar in New York state.

Thompson who killed himself with a gun requested his ashes be shot out of a cannon – video below:
