In the House, John Boehner was only opposed in his bid for House Speaker by 24 out of 246 Republicans. Again I ask: Why no opposition? What happened to all the “conservative” and “libertarian-leaning” Republicans in the House? But what did we expect? Ted Yoho of Florida (who might be my congressman—I don’t know and don’t care), who challenged Boehner for the speakership, raised money for Boehner back in October.
