. . . for saying they are fed up with all the worshipping of the god of the military at football games!  It’s absurd “to sing a war anthem at the open of every game,” said Adande, and “it’s time to back away” from all these fascist celebrations at every sporting event.  It’s not the stupid flag/blood splattered uniforms adopted by Northwestern University’s football team that should make people uncomfortable, he said in response to a comment by the show’s host, but “thoughts of war should make people uncomfortable.”  Hat tip to Kyle.
